Errol Gallimore

Errol Gallimore,
Registrar of Co-operative Societies & Friendly Societies

Errol, began his journey with the Department in 1980 in the Audit Section. Quickly recognized for his financial acumen, he was promoted to Supervisor and further honed his expertise through extensive research and training. By 1999, Errol advanced to lead the Audits and Investigations Section, a role he held until his appointment as Registrar in 2010. His academic background includes studies at the Loughborough University in England, Xavier University in Canada, the Management Institute for National Development, and the Jamaica Paralegal Institute in Kingston.

Lavern Eccleston

Lavern Eccleston,
Director - Audits and Investigations

Lavern began her career at the Department as an Auditor, rising through the ranks to her current position as Director of Audits and Investigations. In this role, she is accountable for the audit of the accounts of all Co-operatives and Friendly Societies, ensuring their accounts are managed effectively and investigating any fraudulent or unlawful activities involving these organizations' funds and assets. As a Chartered Accountant, she brings extensive expertise to her position. Outside of work, Lavern is dedicated to her family, is married, and has two daughters.

Amoy Bernard-Morrison

Amoy Bernard-Morrison,
Director - Policy, Research, Training and Development

Amoy is an Attorney-at-Law, called to the Bar in 2017, with over 17 years of public service experience. She serves as Director, Policy, Research, Training & Development at DCFS, previously holding the position of Director, Academic Affairs at the Caribbean Regional Drug Law Enforcement Training Centre.


Amoy has taught at various universities and institutions. She holds a Master of Science in Government, a Bachelor in International Relations and Political Science, and an Advanced Teaching Diploma. Passionate about service, Amoy enjoys track and field and is active in her church, believing that committing her work to the Lord guides her success.

Tanesha Facey

Tanesha Facey,
Director - Inspectorate

Tanesha, graduated from the Norman Manley Law School in 2016 and was called to the Jamaican Bar that year. Her role includes overseeing the administration of the DCFS Acts and implementing regulatory strategies for examining registered societies. She joined DCFS in 2011, following a career in banking, accounting, and administration, and holds degrees in Business Administration and Law from the University of Technology.

Committed to social service, Tanesha partners annually with the Kiwanis Club to support Jamaica’s female correctional institution. She also enjoys travel, reading fiction, and music.
