Who Can Apply?

The Special Registration Window is available to:

  • Community-Based Organizations (CBOs), including benevolent societies and community associations;
  • Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), including non-profit companies, foundations, trusts and registered charitable organizations;
operating within Jamaica with proposed projects aligned to one or more C.A.R.E. Fund Priority Areas.

C.A.R.E. Fund Priority Areas

To support the objectives of the C.A.R.E. Fund Project, applicants are encouraged to adopt objectives that align with one or more of the following priority areas:

  • Social media impact on child health;
  • Healthy ageing;
  • Menopause / andropause community support systems;
  • Training in home care for older persons and persons with disabilities;
  • Targeting obesity;
  • Fertility and responsible parenting;
  • Period poverty and adolescent health;
  • Jamaica Moves and community integration;
  • Mental health and community support; and
  • Substance abuse prevention and community support.

Need Assistance?

To support applicants in meeting registration requirements and aligning with the objectives of the C.A.R.E. Fund Project, the Department of Co-operatives and Friendly Societies (DCFS) shall develop and make available model objects and powers for use by participating entities.
The model objects and powers shall reflect the thematic areas and priorities identified under the C.A.R.E. Fund Project.

If successful, proceed to C.A.R.E Fund online application form.

  • Attach required documents.
  • Submit in-person at any of our three (3) locations 📌
  • Pay application and other fees where relevant.
  • Ensure proposal aligns with C.A.R.E Fund Priority Areas.

Important Information

Applications that are incomplete, contain inaccurate information or fail to meet the stated requirements may experience delays or may not proceed to assessment.

Submission of an application does not guarantee approval or funding under the C.A.R.E. Fund Programme.
